Cuisinart Contour Stainless 13 Piece Cookware Set
Pans were a Christmas gift. Immediately put to good use that night. The first use of the 8" skillet created odd black marks on the cooking side. Panic set in, but immediately went away from a thorough scrubbing and haven't reappeared. I wonder if there are minor imperfections which arise when the pan is heated the first time. No problems since in any of the pans. They clean very easily (including caked on risotto and oatmeal as well as a sticky gastrique). For those complaining about sticking and/or burning, I'm not sure what to tell you as I've had no issues cooking pork, chicken, beef, or lamb. The only thing I haven't tried are eggs, and I'll keep my one remaining non-stick pan for that.
Keep in mind these are stainless steel and they do hold heat better. You don't need to use the same settings you have for other pans. I cook at lower temps with these, which could explain why I'm not burning things. Excellent gift and great price.
