My wife and I are trying to become better cooks. If you're like us you probably have a metric ton of hand-me-down pots and pans that are warped, distorted, and in need of replacement. This set from KitchenAid provides "one stop shopping" for all of your aspiring culinary needs. We get overwhelmed walking through our local kitchen store and have a ton of complicated time saving kitchen gadgets that we've never used. So we went back to basics and started our culinary mission by focusing on the food. The hardware can come later. 

This set provides everything you need in a single box. The components are well constructed and have held up well despite some near disastrous kitchen experiments. The lids are durable and seal tightly, and each of the components in the package spread heat evenly while cooking on our gas stove. 

I'm sure there are more foodie-certified higherend sets for the food network stars. But if you're just looking to make a quick and healthy meal, you can't go wrong with ordering this set. Just be sure to pay it forward and pass those hand-me-downs to a younger family member.
