KitchenAid Porcelain Enamel Nonstick 12-Piece Cookware Set Red

KitchenAid Porcelain Enamel Nonstick 12-Piece Cookware Set Red
This cookware is colored an attractive red and has a pleasing appearance. The porcelain enamel nonstick surface radiates heat rather evenly across each piece so that there are no obvious hotspots that can cause burning. I found cooking and heating to be easy although there is some heat build-up on the handles the longer the piece is over the flame. Simmering is quick and even at low heat, again lessening the chances for burning. When I cooked Rotelle pasta (using only a pinch of salt in the water), I expected at least some sticking to the sides of the stockpot but not a single piece of pasta did. This is a far better performance than aluminum pots, for example. Frying potatoes in oil resulted in deep golden, crispy potatoes that were neither soggy or overly cooked. There were no little potato fragments sticking to the frying pan requiring effort to scrape off. This cookware is lighter than cast iron and is easier to manipulate. However, I never found this set to be either flimsy or shoddily constructed. I found cooking to be a pleasure while using this set. One can hardly ask for more given its sensible price.
