Anolon Advanced Nonstick Hard-Anodized Aluminum 10-Piece Cookware Set

Anolon Advanced Nonstick Hard-Anodized Aluminum 10-Piece Cookware Set
I purchased a set of these pans over 5 years ago. Originally I was hesitant about spending so much money on a set of pans, but with a family of 4 they would get used every day so I needed something that was supposed to last. Well, they have withstood the test of time. The one thing people need to realize is that most non stick pans don't like high heat or metal utensils. they also don't like the harsh cleaners that are in dishwasher detergents. So, following the instructions, I never cooked with high heat unless there were liquids in the pan, always used plastic utensils, and never placed them in the dishwasher. Almost every pan is still going strong. There were two pans that discolored over time and items started to stick, but I sent them off and they were replaced under warranty. (after 4 years of use)

I am now divorced and am planning to purchase another set for my own use. The weight of these and their even flat bottoms is a plus on newer glass top induction stoves and they also worked great on the old gas top stove. Clean up was always easy with one of those little cello sponges. I never had to scrape or scrub, though sometimes if you leave the pan sit for a bit you need to soak in some hot water. After the soak, the residue simple rinsed out.

I would recommend these to anyone who needs to cook daily and especially to those who use induction stoves. The thick bottoms are well suited to these types of stoves. -trust me, I had to use some cheap-o thin pans and everything burned easily.
